DR. ARABIN® Cube Pessary (with button)

Indication
Genital prolapse grade 3-4
Stress incontinence

Category:

Description

The cube pessary is made from high-quality silicone and features a button with a securely welded thread to facilitate easy device changes. It should be stored at temperatures between 0 and 50°C, protected from UV radiation, and kept free from contact with reactive substances, gases, ozone, or mineral oil.

Since its introduction, the product has undergone continuous improvements to ensure the button and thread are securely fixed, minimizing the risk of dislocation.

Application/Intended Purpose

The cube pessary is indicated for genital prolapse grades 3-4. The non-perforated version creates a vacuum effect, providing optimal adhesion to the vaginal walls, while the perforated version offers greater ease of handling. Cube pessaries are also effective for dissolving scars, alleviating vaginal obstructions, and treating issues related to urination, intercourse, and pre-surgical preparation to enhance tissue circulation. The material’s flexibility enables easy self-management.

Note

The maximum recommended uninterrupted use is 30 days (Class 2a). However, it is advised that the patient remove the pessary each evening and reinsert it in the morning. Healthcare professionals should provide training on the proper application and removal, as well as any additional treatments (e.g., cremes) that may be necessary.

The product is for individual use only and should not be shared. Before insertion, the surface of the pessary must be inspected. If any damage is found, the pessary should be replaced. Cube pessaries must be inserted with the button facing the uterus and the thread facing the vagina. The pessary can be cleaned with running water, without the use of disinfectants.

Application and monitoring

The instructions are regularly updated based on published studies and post-clinical follow-up.

The latest version can be found in the Downloads / Instructions.
