Description
The cube pessary is crafted from high-quality silicone, featuring a button and securely welded thread for easy device changes. It should be stored at temperatures ranging from 0 to 50°C, shielded from UV radiation, and kept free from contact with reactive substances, gases, ozone, or mineral oil.
Since its introduction, the design has been continuously improved to securely anchor the button and thread, minimizing the risk of dislocation.
Application/Intended Purpose
The cube pessary is indicated for genital prolapse grades 3-4. The non-perforated version creates a vacuum effect, ensuring optimal adhesion to the vaginal walls, while the perforated version offers easier handling. Cube pessaries are also effective for dissolving scars, alleviating vaginal obstructions, and addressing issues related to urination, intercourse, and pre-surgical preparation to enhance tissue circulation. The material’s flexibility supports easy self-management by patients.
Note
The pessary should not be used continuously for more than 30 days (Class 2a). It is recommended that the patient remove the pessary every evening and reinsert it in the morning. Healthcare professionals should provide training on its proper application and removal, as well as discuss any additional treatments (e.g., creams) if needed.
This product is for use by a single patient only. Prior to insertion, inspect the surface of the pessary. If any damage is found, the pessary should be replaced. Cube pessaries should be inserted with the button facing the uterus and the thread facing the vagina. The pessary can be cleaned with running water, without the use of disinfectants.
