Description

The bowl pessary is made from high-quality silicone and should be stored at temperatures between 0 and 50°C, away from UV radiation, reactive substances, gases, ozone, and mineral oil.

Application/Intended Purpose

The bowl or sieve bowl pessaries are designed for easy folding, insertion, and removal. They are suitable for patients with genital prolapse (grade 1-2) and stress incontinence, provided the pelvic floor muscles are strong enough to support the pessary.

Note

The pessary should not be used for more than 30 consecutive days (Class IIa). It is recommended that the patient independently remove it in the evening and reinsert it in the morning. Healthcare professionals should provide proper training for its use.

The pessary is for individual use only and should not be shared. It can be cleaned with running water, without the use of disinfectants.

Application, monitoring and removal

The instructions are updated regularly in line with published studies and post-clinical follow-up.
